Hunts Point Riverside Park has become the third park in the Bronx to offer free Wi-Fi service through a collaboration between AT&T and the city.
Bronx Borough President Ruben Diaz Jr., Assemblyman Marcos Crespo and Deputy Parks Commissioner Bob Garafola joined AT&T officials at a ceremony inaugurating the service on Aug. 21.
Any Wi-Fi enabled smartphone or tablet user can connect to free AT&T Wi-Fi at the park on the Bronx River, as well as at Devoe Park and Joyce Kilmer parks in the Bronx and 23 other parks elsewhere in the city.
